All I want for Easter are my two front teeth!

One of my favorite things to do as a kid was jumping on my bed, or the couch or the love seat... pretty much anything bouncy. That is until my parents gave in and bought us a trampoline. Well apparently the need to jump on anything and everything around is hereditary because it has become one of the preferred activities of my little nieces in Arizona. I must have had real superpowers because I was never injured during this jumping phase despite taking a few tumbles off the tramp. Unfortunately my niece Aspen hasn't had as good of luck as I did. A week or so ago she and her sister were jumping on one of their bed's when she somehow flew into the dresser and tried to take a bite out if it. The dresser won and Aspen is short two front teeth. Her parents rushed her to the ER and they were able to push her teeth back in but they never reattached so her dentist had to pull them the other day. She was a real trooper about it all and still looks as adorable as ever. Poor little thing! I hope the tooth fairy was extra nice to her.

They don't call it March Maddness of nothing.

Last weekend I kidnapped my niece and met up with my parents in Vegas. I really only had two goals while there. #1 sit by the pool and soak up some rays and #2 go watch the Y beat up on some unsuspecting team. Honestly that doesn't sound like too much to ask for of a short weekend does it? Well unfortunately, neither of them came to pass. The pool was closed for cleaning and the Y lost to San Diego, yes, I said San Diego. Thus the Mad part of March Maddness enters the picture. How can you lose to people you've already beaten this season? Annoying! Oh well, I got over the lose pretty quick and the rest of our time there was pretty fun. My niece and I had a blast driving down and hanging out with my parents. And despite the Coogs losing their game, we had a great time cheering them on! Our seats were almost to the top of the arena so we had a great view of the court :) and we had a bunch of really fun Y students sitting in front of us. It was fun. Just being in Vegas is a blast. I love that place! Take away the prostitution, people drinking until they pass out and Strip Clubs and you have a pretty fun place. :) How can you not like a place where they have ton's of food for really cheap? The buffet at the Sunset Station Casino was loaded and delicious! I didn't stuff myself so I'll call the eating part of the trip a success. :)

The Cougars got an 8th seed in the playoffs and they'll play Texas A&M in the first round. I'm completely positive we'll win that one. We might have a little bit harder time in the second round but I'm sure we can pull that one off too. Who the heck is UCON anyway? I'm sure we'll cream them...right? :) A girl can dream.

Wow, that's pretty!

Like normal, I never see outside until I'm leaving for work and I open the garage door. This morning there was a beautiful surprise awaiting me with the lifting of the door...Snow! It was so pretty that I just had to take a few pictures of it . I love it when there's snow on the ground, the sky is clear and blue and you can see the mountains with the sun just starting to peak over their tops. Who knows, this could be our last snow of winter...we can only hope. :) Bring on Springtime!
