BBQ rocks!

I recently went home to visit my new little niece and I had the greatest time! Dinner time is the social event of the day. We all gather around and eat an amazing meal that my brother, chef Jase, cooks up. We eat and talk until we feel like we're going to explode! It's great! This last visit my brother made his "eat until you puke" ribs. He slow cooks them in the oven till their tender and then finishes them off on the grill, coating them in his home made bbq sauce. They rock! That's all I can say. Even my newest little niece wanted some. She's showing that she has wonderful tast in food at an early stage in life. It was a great time.

Dance fighting.....a very underrated sport

Ok, so I went to see the ballet version of Carmen tonight with some fantastic friends. I think we all agreed that the part in the ballet where they were "dance fighting" was the highlight. It was supposed to be a very serious part of the ballet but I couldn't stop the immage of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson "breakdance fighting" in the movie Zoolander from popping into my head. Needless to say the dramatic imagry of the dance fighting was lost on me. But on a whole the ballet was very good.
